He Said I Come From the Land Down Under!
So Ive just booked an awesome trip down the East coast of Oz froom Cairns to Sydney with sailing, sight seeing, jungle cable caring, camping hiking diving and par-taying with a travel agents called Peter Pan! Woop woop! (If you're not jelious yet keep reading :cP)
Not as hot here as SE Asia. OZ is just coming out of its wet season, so all the jungles are a lush green and the weather is still 30 celcius ++
Cairns isn't great, just a city really! Night life is good tho and its a little cheaper here than cities further south.

HI Lovelight.
Went to all those places and though I would give you some cautious suggestions for your itinerary. Remember these are only my personal opinion
Mission Beach - A small place with not a lot there, but a beach. Consider missing it out.
Townsville - If you can, get over to Magnestic Island for a couple of days and stay at bungalow bay! Its wicked.
Mackay - Miss it unless there is a real reason to go. There is nothing worth seeing.
Rockhampton - Miss it unless you go inland to do something outdoors'y. We went on a tour called Myella farm stay. It was expensive but probably worth it.
Bribane/Surfers paradise - Hmm...Sydney is far nicer in my opinion plus Surfers was a bit tacky! Consider shortening.
Newcastle - Consider missing it. I would go to Bellingen instead.
Others - If you can fit it in, go to Murwullimbah and climb Mt Warning. You will not regret it!!! I think we stopped in the YHA. Do it - you know you want to.
